Biodigital Technology seems bizarre. Telpathy, telekinesis, remote controlled animals, brain cells fused with computer chips, computer-brain interfaces, harvesting electricity from living organisms, enhanced and augmented senses. Are we becoming the machines we build, are they becoming us or both? Keep in mind that, regarding technology, master/slave is a model of communication where one device or process has unidirectional control over one or more other devices.

It's about control. Who is the master of technology and who is the slave. I envy the monkey and feel sorry for the rat. Think of a future where transhumanity is linked through a global thought network and a systems administrator has access to your thoughts and nervous system. We may be the Borg, very creepy.
