FLY LIKE AN EAGLE

Fly like an eagle, …. a vision-idea of the effects produced by my own condition, no offense, I think that the word-idea freedom is prostituted in many countries that are determined to create a scenary of eternal freedom or absolute. Freedom seems more a lightness that only occurs in some fragments of time, at least in my life. - Liqen


Symbols are traps for ideas. The eagle, constellation Aquila, is a part of the zodiac sign Scorpio. The eagle is also the dove. On two wings it is at once war and peace, oppression and freedom .

    The eagle on the Great Seal of the United States is powerful. It grasps a branch bearing 13 olives and leaves in its right talons and 13 arrows with those on the left. The symbol of a nation under g-d (27) reigning through gold and steel, dexterous peace and sinister war. 

    The dove (Columbidae) bearing an olive branch could represent submission. The symbols of Columbidae and Columbia have been injected with popular essence of the American way. Peace and freedom stung by the scorpion, hacked to shreds by the eagle and devoured by mysterious beasts lurking behind the eye in the sky.

      Doves, are awarded medals of honor for military service. The peaceful eagle soars free while the war pigeon is captive, serving man.

It seems as if Hope/Nadia Tolokonnikova, Maria Alekhine and the rest of Pussy Riot are tired of being buggered and pimped out for profit by Pyotr Verzilov. They probably smell the shit that's eventually going to hit the fan (interview in Le Monde) and are trying to save their street cred with the real cause. As I have said, "Nice form of feminism. Let your wife and her friends rot in the gulag for "your art" while you jetset, party with Yoko, Madonna & the like, collecting grants and awards along the way." Oh, trouble in PR paradise. Wait for it... and LMAO.

Oh, my BS detector worked well on this one. Voina is no joke. Pyotr is getting a buggering from the girls with a phallus bigger than the DICK CAPTURED BY KGB. He will be forever stuck in Cocyttus' Judecca, fourth section of the 9th ring of hell. The lowest of the low, submerged in ice for being a traitor to his masters and benefactors.

It will not be surprising if the western mass media just sweeps this story under the rug. Lots of big, big names will feel some shame, just as with KONY 2012, if this story goes global. Hopefully they will shine the light on the situation in any case. The real Russian PUSSY RIOT stands up to being pimped out to Hollywood and Washington by Pyotr "Willie Wanka". Looks like moonshine Wodka and potatoes got the best of Coca Cola and "freedom fries".

Convicted member Pussy Riot Mary Alekhine and Hope Tolokonnikova said former activist art group "War" and husband Peter Tolokonnikova Verzilov had no right to speak on behalf of the group.Photo handwritten letter published in a blog on the website of Alekhine "Echo of Moscow". The document is signed by Tolokonnikova and Alekhine. "Pussy Riot - are girls in balaclava and nothing else. Previous and subsequent interviews and representative Peter Verzilova least are illegitimate, as a maximum - is a lie and a provocation" - written and Tolokonnikova Alekhine.

They also said they broke the cardinal rule Verzilov Pussy Riot - anonymity. "I met with the journalists and the public engaged in activities that are not part of the case with a Pussy Riot on the fact no right. Position producer / promoter / organizer is not provided in a punk band," - said in the letter. Alekhine and Tolokonnikova also claim that none of the publications of the group had not been agreed with the customer.

Three convicted in the case Pussy Riot Catherine Samutsevich, delivered on the eve of the Moscow City Hall, in an interview with "rain" said the statement surprised Nadia and Masha. According to her, during their joint visits to the court issue of "representation" Pussy Riot and the role Verzilova never discussed.

"Attempts to provide any public role in Pussy Riot means trying to ignore and discredit the ideology of female punk feminist collective in which participants except those that have been disclosed by law-enforcement authorities, there is no public roles for females, and especially male" - said in a statement Verzilova.

On the same day Tolokonnikova said that among the participating Pussy Riot no contradiction for legal or creative issues. Her statement submitted from prison, was published in a blog group. "I want to say that what happened in the last few days of the change (decision Samutsevich change counsel. - Ed.) Around us in any case does not mean a split within the group Pussy Riot - between Katya, Masha and me and all the other members of the creative team does not contradict any on fundamental questions about the line of defense in court, nor on any other key legal and creative issues - wrote Tolokonnikova. - A group Pussy Riot is the same lively and one creative team, which has been in the past. We respect any choice Katie."

The four-year daughter and Tolokonnikova Verzilova now lives with his father. In late September, Gera and Peter Verzilovy with lawyers group went to the U.S., where he participated in the campaign for the introduction of a "list of Pussy Riot". In Washington Verzilovy received the award from Yoko Ono met with Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi, as well as with U.S. congressmen. In New York, Hera and his father took part in the concert of Peter Gabriel, who expressed support Pussy Riot.

In the process, Pussy Riot in Khamovnichesky court stated that custody hero began to take shape in the Feigin reprisals against her father.

“I hereby officially declare that Petr Verzilov is not a representative 
of Pussy Riot and does not have any role in the group whatsoever.
Moreover, Petr Verzilov repeatedly violated the core Pussy Riot
principle of anonymity. To be precise: he met with journalists and
made public appearances without having any right to do so on behalf of
Pussy Riot.

Pussy Riot can be nothing other than a young woman in a balaclava.

All of Petr Verzilov’s appearances in the media on behalf of the group are
illegitimate. They were not conducted with our approval as
full-fledged members of the group and were conducted with the face
uncovered, which violates the idea of anonymity.

In essence, Petr Verzilov has taken over the activities of Pussy Riot
in a strange, quasi-fraudulent fashion. As a representative of the
group, I am offended by this. I would like to repeat that all future
interviews and appearances of Petr Verzilov should be considered
illegitimate to the say the least, and should at their worst be
considered a lie and a provocation.

Petr Verzilov claims that he gets approval for all of his actions from
the group members who are currently incarcerated. That is not the
case. These claims are lies.
They are lies intended to transfer unto himself the status of Pussy
Riot’s legal and principal representative, which in actual fact he is
not.

After our arrest, Petr Verzilov has usurped the decision-making and
representation of Pussy Riot, as no one could do without violating the
ideology of the group as such. That is because a legitimate
representative of the group can only be a young woman in a balaclava.
Moreover, the position of producer/promoter/organizer cannot be part
of an anti-hierarchical punk group. All attempts to take on such a
position are a betrayal of punk and of Pussy Riot.

One of the most intriguing pieces here is Oleg Kulik’s “Tolstoy and the Chickens” (1998), made when the iconoclastic Russian artist was an artist in residence at the Frac. A life-sized wax-museum-type figure of Tolstoy sits writing at a desk inside a large cage, which is topped by another cage – separated only by chicken wire – housing three chickens, so that the great Russian writer and his surroundings are covered in feathers and droppings, which build up every time the work is put on display and will presumably cover them completely one day.

PUSSY RIOT: SECRET HISTORY

Universally admired, Pussy Riot (or PR for short) have been promoted as superstars. But what are they? A rock or punk group they are not. A British journalist marvelled: they produce no music, no song, no painting, nada, rien, nothing. How can they be described as “artists”? This was a severe test for their supporters, but they passed it with flying honours: that famous lover-of-art, the US State Department, paid for their first ever single being produced by The Guardian out of some images and sounds.  
We are able to stomach obscenity and blasphemy; I am a great admirer of Notre Dame de Fleurs by Jean Genet, who combined both. However, the PR never wrote, composed or painted anything of value at all. Chris Randolph defended them in Counterpunch by comparing them with “the controversial Yegor Letov”. What a misleading comparison! Letov wrote poetry, full of obscenity but it still was poetry, while the PR have nothing but Public Relations. 
Hell-bent on publicity, but artistically challenged, three young women from Russia decided – well, it sounds like a limerick. They stole a frozen chicken from a supermarket and used it as dildo; they filmed the act, called it “art” and placed it on the web. (It is still there) Their other artistic achievements were an orgy in a museum and a crude presentation of an erect prick
Even in these dubious pieces of art their role was that of technical staff: the glory went to a Russian-Israeli artist Plucer-Sarno of Mevasseret Zion, who claimed the idea, design and copyright for himself and collected a major Russian prize. The future PR members got nothing and were described by Plucer as “ambitious provincials on the make”, or worse.
Lately they have tried to ride on a bandwagon of political struggle. That was another flop. They poured a flood of obscene words on Putin – in Red Square, in subway (underground) stations – with zero effect. They weren’t arrested, they weren’t fined, just chased away as a nuisance. And they did not attract the attention of people. It is important to remember that Putin is an avowed enemy of Russian oligarchs, owners of the major bulk of Russian media and providers of the Moscow literati, so they print on a daily basis so much anti-Putin invective, that it’s lost its shock value. You can’t invent a new diatribe against Putin – it has been already said and published. And Putin practically never interferes with the freedom of the press. 
My foreign journalist friends are usually amazed by the unanimity and ferocity of the anti-Putin campaign in Russian media. It can be compared with the attacks on G W Bush in the liberal papers in the US, but in the US, there are many conservative papers that supported Bush. Putin has practically no support in the mainstream media, all of it owned by media barons. A valuable exception is TV, but it is expressly apolitical and provides mainly low-brow entertainment, also presented by anti-Putin activists like Mlle Xenia Sobtchak. So PR failed profoundly to wake up the beast. 
Eventually the young viragos were mobilised for an attack on the Church. By that time they were willing to do anything for their bit of publicity. And the anti-Church campaign started a few months ago, quite suddenly as if by command. The Russian Church had 20 years of peace, recovering after the Communist period, and it was surprised by ferocity of the attack. 
Though this subject calls for longer exposition, let us be brief. After the collapse of the USSR, the Church remained the only important spiritual pro-solidarity force in Russian life. The Yeltsin and Putin administrations were as materialist as the communists; they preached and practiced social Darwinism of neo-Liberal kind. The Church offered something beside the elusive riches on earth. Russians who lost the glue of solidarity previously provided by Communists eagerly flocked to the alternative provided by the Church. 
The government and the oligarchs treated the Church well, as the Church had a strong anti-Communist tendency, and the haves were still afraid of the Reds leading the have-nots. The Church flourished, many beautiful cathedrals were rebuilt, many monasteries came back after decades of decay. The newly empowered church became a cohesive force in Russia. 
As it became strong, the Church began to speak for the poor and dispossessed; the reformed Communists led by the Church-going Gennadi Zuganov, discovered a way to speak to the believers. A well-known economist and thinker, Michael Khazin, predicted that the future belongs to a new paradigm of Red Christianity, something along the lines of Roger Garaudy’s early thought. The Red Christian project is a threat to the elites and a hope for the world, he wrote. Besides, the Russian church took a very Russian and anti-globalist position. 
This probably hastened the attack, but it was just a question of time when the global anti-Christian forces would step forward and attack the Russian Church like they attacked the Western Church. As Russia entered the WTO and adopted Western mores, it had to adopt secularization. And indeed the Russian Church was attacked by forces that do not want Russia to be cohesive: the oligarchs, big business, the media lords, the pro-Western intelligentsia of Moscow, and Western interests which naturally prefer Russia divided against itself. 
This offensive against the Church began with some minor issues: the media was all agog about Patriarch’s expensive watch, a present from the then President Medvedev. Anti-religious fervour was high among liberal opposition that demonstrated against Putin before the elections and needed a new horse to flog. A leading anti-Putin activist Viktor Shenderovich said he would understand if the Russian Orthodox priests were slain like they were in 1920s. Yet another visible figure among the liberal protesters, Igor Eidman, exclaimed,“exterminate the vermin”- the Russian Church – in the rudest biological terms 
The alleged organiser of the PR, Marat Gelman, a Russian Jewish art collector, has been connected with previous anti-Christian art actions which involved icon-smashing, imitation churches of enemas. His – and PR’s problem was that it was difficult to provoke reaction of the Church. PR made two attempts to provoke public indignation in the second cathedral of Moscow, the older Elochovsky Cathedral; both times they were expelled but not arrested. The third time, they tried harder; they went to St Savior Cathedral that was demolished by Lazar Kaganovich in 1930s and rebuilt in 1990s; they added more blasphemy of the most obscene kind, and still they were allowed to leave in peace. Police tried their best to avoid arresting the viragos, but they had no choice after PR uploaded a video of their appearance in the cathedrals with an obscene soundtrack. 
During the trial, the defence and the accused did their worst to antagonize the judge by threatening her with the wrath of the United States (sic!) and by defiantly voicing anti-Christian hate speeches. The judge had no choice but to find the accused guilty of hate crime (hooliganism with religious hate as the motive). The prosecution did not charge the accused with a more serious hate crime “with intent to cause religious strife”, though it could probably be made to stick. (It would call for a stiffer sentence; swastika-drawers charged with intent to cause strife receive five years of jail). 
Two years’ sentence is quite in line with prevailing European practice. For much milder anti-Jewish hate talk, European countries customarily sentence offenders to two-to-five years of prison for the first offence. The Russians applied hate crime laws to offenders against Christian faith, and this is probably a Russian novelty. The Russians proved that they care for Christ as much as the French care for Auschwitz, and this shocked the Europeans who apparently thought ‘hate laws’ may be applied only to protect Jews and gays. The Western governments call for more freedom for the anti-Christian Russians, while denying it for holocaust revisionists in their midst. 
The anti-Putin opposition flocked to support PR. A radical charismatic opposition leader, the poet Eduard Limonov wrote that the opposition made a mistake supporting PR, as they antagonise the masses; the chasm between the masses and the opposition grows. But his voice was crying in the wilderness, and the rest of the opposition happily embraced the PR cause, trying to turn it into a weapon against Putin. The Western media and governments also used it to attack Putin. A Guardianeditorial called on Putin to resign. Putin called for clemency for PR, and the government was embarrassed by the affair. But they were left with no choice: the invisible organisers behind PR wanted to have the viragos in jail, and so they did. 
Commercially, they hit jackpot. With support of Madonna and the State Department, they are likely to leave jail ready for a world tour and photo ops at the White House. They registered their name as a trade mark and began to issue franchises. And their competitors, the Femen group (whose art is showing off their boobs in unusual places) tried to beat PR by chopping down a large wooden cross installed in memory of Stalin’s victims. Now the sky is the limit. 
In August, vacation season, when there is not much hard news and newspaper readers are at the seashore or countryside, the PR trial provided much needed entertainment for man and beast. Hopefully it will drop from the agenda with the end of the silly season, but do not bet on it.

Voina activists climbed over the fence to the yard of the police station No.71 in St. Petersburg to hold an auto-da-fe for a police prisoner transport truck. The prison-on-wheels was set on fire with Molotov cocktails and totally burned down. Oleg Vorotnikov, Leonid Nikolayev, Natalia Sokol and other activists took part in the action. Cops didn't succeed in arresting any of them.

On the night of June 14th, 2010, on the Che Guevara birthday, Voina painted an enormous phallus on the Liteiny drawbridge in St Petersburg several minutes before it started rising.
The Voina activists poured the paint from the cans, while running from the bridge security. It took them only 23 seconds to create the gigantic Dick. Since there was nothing the guards could do to stop the bridge from opening, at 1 a.m. the phallus – 65 m tall, 27 m across, weighting 4000 tonnes– slowly erected just opposite the headquarters of the KGB's successors, the Federal Security Service. It could be seen from everywhere in the center of St Petersburg. Three Voina activists were beaten by the bridge guard; one of them, Leonid Nikolayev, was arrested.
Alex Plutser-Sarno, the Voina activist, defined the genre of the action as a “sketch in the open air” or a “street sketch”. Alex proclaimed that the Dick was turned on not only by the main KGB office, but by the whole hierarchy of power in Russia. And it also was a protest against the heightened security measures expected at the International Economic Forum, held from June 17 in Saint Petersburg, the hometown of both Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
The Dick graffiti was a monumental “Fuck you!” to the Russian corrupted authorities.

Russia’s shock/protest art group Voina takes it to the next level of WTF with their latest action, “How to Snatch a Chicken: A Tale of How One Cunt fed the Whole of the Group Voina.” Now picture that in the most literal and unhygienic way possible… Yup.While their previous actions like the Giant Galactic Space Dick-ing of a St. Petersburg bridge were eloquent acts of political vandalism, it’s been all cockroaches and food fights with them, recently. Most recently, in honor of their hero, a 19th century political philosopher/prisoner, Voina’s president’s wife dubbed “Vacuous Cunt With Inconceivably Huge Tits,” smuggled a chicken out of a grocery store in said “Vacuous Cunt.”See the extremely NSFW video below (and photos here). First, the troupe searched for a large and fresh enough chicken. Then, the store isles and CCTV cameras were blocked by the members of the group holding up banners with “FUCK WHORING YOURSELF!” smeared on them in I-don’t-want-to-know-what. The blockade allowed Vacuous Cunt to promptly stuff and smuggle the poultry out of the store, which was then presumably cooked and eaten.…So are they still a performance art group or a XXX version of Jackasss?

POLICE STOOGE PYOTR VERZILOV IS TRYING TO PUT VOINA IN JAIL FOR LIFE
Pyotr Verzilov, who was expelled from Voina in 2009 for ratting out other Voina members to the police (http://plucer.livejournal.com/229596.html), is now using his fake Twitter account (http://twitter.com/gruppa_voina) to publish statements on behalf of the group. Those statements appear to be a provocation aimed at increasing the severity of charges brought against Voina. For instance, the following tweet was posted before the prime minister’s visit to Higher School of Economics:

“Is there anyone inside the HSE building right now who could make a successful attempt on Putin’s life for the purpose of terminating his political activity?”

Pyotr chose to post this tweet on behalf of Voina despite knowing that Twitter accounts and blogs are being monitored by the police in search of evidence for criminal prosecution. The tweet, which calls for Putin’s assassination, does not jeopardize Pyotr in any way. At the same time it gives the prosecution grounds to charge the arrested Voina activists Oleg Vorotnikov and Leonid Nikolaev under article 277 of the criminal code. If convicted under that article (which is quoted verbatim in the tweet) they could face life in prison.

Voina would like to officially state that it has no connection to the impostor Twitter account gruppa_voina, which is being maintained by Pyotr Verzilov. The same can be said of the LiveJournal account http://wisegizmo.livejournal.com which has been used by Verzilov to discredit the group by publishing fake news about Voina actions that never happened.

The group’s only official information outlets are:

The incriminating tweet was far from the first of Pyotr Verzilov’s provocations. He then filmed activists’ faces during their storming of the Khimki city administration in July 2010, later publishing the video on the internet, which led to arrests. In order to further discredit the group, the published video was titled “a video filmed by Voina members” (see for instancehttp://news.nswap.info/?p=36820).

Verzilov did not participate in any of Voina actions of 2010 (Liteyny Dick, Bucket Man, Palace Revolution and others). Despite not having been involved in them in any way, he has claimed authorship in a number of interviews. SPIEGEL: How did Pussy Riot come about?

Verzilov: Pussy Riot was a direct response to a decision by (former President and current Prime Minister) Dmitry Medvedev not to run for reelection (as president). It was on Sept. 24, 2011, the day it became clear that the regime has no interest in change and only knows one direction: more authoritarian control. For 15 women, including Nadezhda, it was a wakeup call to do something and plan direct campaigns. The first videos appeared on the Internet only a few weeks later.

SPIEGEL: Who came up with the name?

Verzilov: These are collective decisions. The name is a reference to the Riot grrrl movement that arose in the United States in the early 1990s, based on a concept of feminine strength, not weakness. It sounded odd in Russia, and even the Western mainstream media has problems with it. Until recently, no English or American newspaper would have printed the word "pussy."

The project team listed Voina as one of the participants but this was done against our will! Moreover, this exhibition will feature counterfeit and fake works, which have no relation to us, as well as works that were stolen from Voina while members of the group were in prison. In November 2010, during the arrest of Voina leaders Oleg Vorotnikov and Leonid Nikolaev, all documentation of recent Voina actions was stolen. The theft was conducted by Russian cops (namely, the anti-extremism department ‘Center E’, created to suppress the opposition and free artists in Russia). Prior to that, the entire physical and electronic archive had been stolen by provocateurs Petr Verzilov and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova. While Voina leaders were in prison, these individuals were busy spreading misinformation in the media (including foreign media), calling themselves the leaders of Voina and claming authorship of such actions as Dick captured by the FSB!, The Palace Revolution, Leo the Fucknut is our President, How to Snatch Chicken and others.

In May 2010, Verzilov and Tolokonnikova broke into the garage which housed Voina archives and took everything.

John Lennon may have had a chequered history with the FBI, but 30 years after his death one might have thought the agency would have lost interest. Two days ago a small Manhattan memorabilia shop was raided by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security agents who seized a set of the singer's fingerprints which were due up for auction.

Lennon was under FBI surveillance in the early 1970s for anti-war activism, but that ended with the J Edgar Hoover era in 1972.
One previously confidential 1972 document on the FBI site, from an investigation into intelligence that Lennon had contributed $75,000 to a group planning to disrupt the Republican National Convention, reads: "Source advised that Lennon appears to be radically orientated, however he does not give the impression he is a true revolutionist since he is constantly under the influence of narcotics."
